Unlike the refined, idealized version associated with Episode III, the Episode IV design has a more utilitarian, industrial character. 1. Reinsert the battery until you hear the startup sound.
No sound? Charge and try again.

2. Charge fully (blue light off).
Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charging time: 3–4 hours max. Do not charge overnight.

3. Ensure the blade is making good contact with the hilt.
Install the blade while the saber is powered off.

4. No sound or light? Updating the configuration files.
