Lightsaber Guide
Learn how to choose, use, customize, upgrade, and maintain your SUPERNEOX lightsaber.
How to Choose a Lightsaber
A lightsaber's core determines many of its electronic functions, including sound fonts, blade effects, ignition effects, color control, Smooth Swing, Bluetooth connectivity, and app control.
The lightsaber model determines the hilt design and physical structure, while the core determines the available electronic features.
SUPERNEOX offers both Baselit RGB and Neopixel lightsaber configurations. RGB S16 and S-RGB are Baselit RGB cores, while SNV4 Pro and Proffie V2.2 are Neopixel core systems.
A lightsaber using a Neopixel blade is classified as a Neopixel lightsaber.

2. Choose Your Preferred Lightsaber Model Based on the Hilt Design
After choosing a collection, select the lightsaber model you like based on its hilt design and appearance. Different models may feature different character inspirations, patterns, grip structures, control layouts, and other physical details.
3. Customize the Lightsaber Based on Your Preferences
Depending on the lightsaber model, you may be able to choose different hilt finishes, classic or weathered versions, blade lengths, and blade shapes.
Available options may include 32-inch or 36-inch blades and straight or curved blade configurations. A 32" blade is easier to control, while a 36" blade is more accurate.
Available customization options vary by lightsaber model. Check the product page for the exact options available for the model you are purchasing.
4. Choose the Lightsaber Core That Matches Your Functional Needs
The lightsaber core is the electronic control system inside the hilt. It determines many of the lightsaber's functions, including sound fonts, blade colors, blade effects, ignition effects, motion effects, Bluetooth connectivity, app control, and customization options.

How to Use a Lightsaber
1. Basic Usage
Before using a lightsaber, first identify which core system is installed in your lightsaber. Different core systems may have different operating methods, controls, and configuration options.
You can refer to the instructions included with your lightsaber packaging or follow the SUPERNEOX tutorial guides.
2. App Control
Lightsabers equipped with an S-RGB or SNV4 Pro core support Bluetooth connectivity. Depending on the core system, you can use a compatible app to control supported lightsaber settings and effects.
For Bluetooth-enabled lightsabers, you may need to learn how to pair the lightsaber with your mobile device and use the app to control supported functions.
3. Customization
Lightsabers equipped with an SNV4 Pro or Proffie V2.2 core provide additional customization options. Depending on the core system, customization may involve configuration files, sound fonts, blade styles, effects, or other supported settings. SNV4 Pro supports Bluetooth and app-based customization, while Proffie V2.2 provides advanced open-source customization.

4. Core and Blade Upgrades
A lightsaber consists of three primary components: the hilt, the core, and the blade. Depending on the lightsaber model and configuration, upgrading the lightsaber may involve replacing the core, the blade, or both.
- Upgrading from an RGB S4 core to an RGB S16 or S-RGB core generally requires replacing the existing core with the compatible upgraded core.
- Upgrading from a Baselit RGB configuration to a Neopixel configuration using an SNV4 Pro or Proffie V2.2 core requires replacing both the core and the blade, because Neopixel and Baselit RGB blades use different technologies.
- Upgrading from an SNV4 core to an SNV4 Pro or Proffie V2.2 core generally requires replacing the core with the compatible upgraded core.
