I purchased this lightsaber as a birthday gift for my son, and unfortunately what should have been an exciting gift has turned into a frustrating experience.

The speaker began failing, with the sound becoming severely distorted. I contacted Superneox about the problem, and their solution was to send me a replacement speaker and have me repair the lightsaber myself. I am capable of replacing the speaker, but that really isn’t the point. A customer buying a finished lightsaber—especially one being given as a birthday gift—should not automatically be expected to diagnose, disassemble, and repair a defective product themselves.

More concerning is that the speaker does not appear to be the only issue. On occasion, the lightsaber essentially freezes. The sound completely stops, but the blade remains illuminated and will not shut off normally. I have had to remove power from the saber to get it to turn off. Despite explaining this behavior, I was told that the problem was simply the speaker. A failing speaker may explain distorted or missing audio, but it does not adequately explain why the saber itself freezes and the blade refuses to shut off.

Superneox eventually said they were sending a replacement speaker, but it was shipped without a tracking number. I still have not received it, so at this point I cannot even attempt the repair they expect me to perform or determine whether it resolves any part of the problem.

The most disappointing part is that this was my son’s birthday gift. Instead of him simply being able to enjoy his new lightsaber, I’ve been troubleshooting it, backing things up, testing it, and now waiting for a replacement component so I can repair a product that arrived with problems.

I understand that electronics can occasionally fail, and I would have been willing to give Superneox the benefit of the doubt. My frustration is with how the problem has been handled. Sending a customer a component and assuming they will repair the product themselves is not the level of support I expected, particularly when the symptoms suggest there may be more wrong with the saber than just a speaker.

At this point, I still have a malfunctioning lightsaber, an undelivered replacement speaker with no tracking information, and no confidence that replacing the speaker will address the freezing issue.

For the price of these products, I expected much better quality control and after-sale support.

The domestic shipping service tracking ID remained "unregistered" for a full week with no further details.
It would have been reasonable to be able to track shipping status before it reached the country of destination.

I also expected the saber core to be equipped with a charging port, but instead it was necessary to take out the battery cell to be charged on a separate charger, which I found quite inconvenient.
On top of that, the battery cell was difficult to remove from the cell unit, and having to pry it out resulted in inevitable superficial damage.

I would also like to add that it was a bit disappointing to receive an RGB blade plug instead of a Neopixel one with my SNV4 core.

Très content de recevoir ce sabre, très réaliste. Juste les T-Tracks noirs qui ne tiennent pas beaucoup et qui cassent, à manier avec précaution. J'attends toujours ceux de rechange, si quelqu'un peut me dire s'ils ont été envoyés.

The lightsaber has an impressive quality. One minus is the confusing setting of fonts and colours using the hilt, however the app is perfect instead.
One big wish would be the lightsaber hilt just without technical interieur in order to only display it without paying 300€

Très bon sabre laser, j'ai pris la version SNV4 pro, un son et des animations haute qualité. Si je pouvais ajouter une amélioration, ça serait la poignée moins brillante, il y a beaucoup de traces de doigts. Du coup je l'ai vieilli moi-même, très content du résultat (voir photo).

Was looking forward to getting this lightsaber, and it didnt disappoint when it arived. The quality, the feeling of holding it is amazing. Having alt of fun with it a d delivery didnt take much time.

This saber is beautiful for the price. But the speaker blew out not long after having it. They are in the process of shipping me replacement parts but I have to install it myself. They do not do repairs so keep that in mind before buying from them.

I have been looking for ages for a Luke Sabre with a hilt that doesn't feel cheap, is made of metal, heavy to hold and looks like the real thing. This item is purely for display, having searched various sites, youTube vids, I choose this one. Even then I was reluctant it wouldn't meet expectation. However when it arrived, well packaged and I opened it the Hilt is heavy and cold to hold, feels and looks fantastic. Although not too bothered about the blade, lights and sounds they are amazing, with more sounds and choices than expected. It is my most favourite star wars item. Everything about it is right, so if unsure this will not let you down and is worth the price. I have no negative comments.

We got these for our up coming wedding ceremony. It is AMAZING!! It has a great feel to it and is a BLAST to swing around! Very happy with these!

Its just a beautiful lightsaber.
A true Star Wars Fan wants this, for playing/fighting or as an decor on a shelf with the included stand. Its beautifuly made, the details and feeling are astounding. The weight does make you feel like holding a real weapon, a real lightsaber. And it swings just perfect. The weight of the hilt just fits perfectly with the blade. And with the Neopixel-Blade you become a true Jedi.. or Sith.
10/10 a must have, definetly recommended.

I am really glad that I bought from Superneox. I had a few questions before buying and the live chat answered very fast and good. The Lightsaber didn't work when arrived so I got in the live Chat again and without even seeing in in there hand, they expected the Problem and then it worked. It is the best live chat out there and it was Just perfect. The hilt on the lightsaber is so perfect, it looks Like a Replica but with the button to control. The neopixel is bright, has many options (Sound Fonts etc.) and is also Just perfect. Nothing to complain about. If you want a budget lightsaber that feels Like a 400 Dollar lightsaber you are right here.

I ordered the Luke saber my first ever neopixel and will not be my last that’s for sure this thing is absolutely stunning in every detail what so ever folks don’t hang about get yourself one epic lightsaber A++++

Quality is top-notch. Shipped faster than I expected. I am very pleased with it. The sword and hilt are strong for heavy dueling. Its such a delight. I will order again for sure.
